Who Are We?
We are two friends, Iain & Paul, with a passion for tabletop gaming. We met at work within an engineering company and from there, our obsession with wargaming snowballed. Iain left the company to pursue a photography career and Paul continued to hone his skills in the product design industry. However, we always stayed in contact through tabletop gaming.

OUR STORY

"Vlka Fenryka"
IAIN
YO!
I'm Iain aka Watty or the Jarl. I am one half of this crazy adventure where Paul is the big brain, I provide the photos, the poor quality chat and most importantly my chaotic thought process to media and problem solving challenges. Paul enjoys deciphering all these ideas, he's now fluent in Ayrshire.
I am a jack of all trades master of none, starting life working on farms then into all sorts of hands on work eventually finding my way to an engineering desk job where the wonderful people of the world got to decipher my dodgy accent and fast paced way of talking i.e words before brain engages, a bit like the way I also type.....weird .
The desk job didn't last long, and I moved over into R&D where I met Paul.
Hobby wise I am a big fan of 40/30k which is my main hobby focus. Mainly, I collect Space Wolves, DKK and Imperial Knights. I prefer the painting and collecting side of the hobby over the competitive gaming side of the hobby, and I also absolutely love the lore behind the 30/40k universe.
Gaming wise I prefer fun games with friends or small skirmish games like Area Rex, Tanks, Titanicus and Team Yankee.
Enjoy the products !

Master Of The Forge
PAUL
HEY!
I'm Paul, aka the Master of the Forge.
The futurecase is my brainchild which can to life after seeing a gap in the market, and a need for this product. It's been designed from the ground up over the past two years, and we finally settled on the 17th version! Together with Iain, we ironed the kinks out and figured out how to improve each version. Finally, we now have a product that we are truly proud of; The Futurecase. Design and technical detailing is where my skillset lies....I also bring balance and sanity to the force....helping us continue in the right direction.
I studied Product Design and Innovation at university before continuing on to work in design engineering teams within a wide selection of industries. Somewhere along the way, I picked up the other bearded geek in this duo.
Gaming wise, I am a sucker for many gaming systems, but my main system is Warhammer 40k, for which I have travelled throughout the UK and a couple of jaunts to Europe to play tournaments. I am an avid Necron and Guard player, and love nothing more than converting my army to give them a different look to the rest.
Speak to you guys soon on the socials.

Business Goal
So why have we launched this product?
Well we love table top games and everything that comes with the hobby be it painting or collecting piles of shame. But one thing we don't love is how we spend hours painting for the models to be damaged; while being stored, transported or even removed from the foam inserts for gaming days. There is always something squashed or breaking off.
All across the community you can guarantee glue is always at hand for repairs. We play games all the time, so it made sense to combine our skills gained working together in engineering and come up with something to help with this issue.
What started off as us spending time together playing tabletop games and moaning about broken models and options in the market turned into a brainstorming session, with Iain's scatter brain popping ideas all over the place Pauls brain went to work designing and expanding on everything discussed while Iain continued on braking models. This turned into another new hobby which our wives loved in the form of a 3d printing project for our own models.
Now here we are 2 years later and 1 year operating a TFW though we are a business it still feels like a hobby project between friends; if it takes off, great! if not, then we have some exceptionally good cases so that our models no longer get damaged. It's a win-win for us! It's not about the money or the business, first and foremost it’s about the hobby and making cool hobby supplies.
