Shipping Policy
Welcome to TRIDENT FUTUREWORKS shipping policy section. Here, we provide information about our shipping methods, secure packaging, and reasonable costs. We believe in transparency and aim to ensure that our customers have a seamless experience from checkout to delivery.
As we are a small business everything is hand made, picked and packed. We will always strive to ship your order within 48hrs with weekend orders going on a Monday and mid week orders on a Wednesday & Friday. This allows us time to pack your order and hand deliver it to our local courier. Please note this is only for in stock items. Out of stock items or custom orders will take a little longer, you will be notified of the timelines during the sales process.
All orders over £150 include free UK shipping, shipped via Royal Mail 48 tracked. Orders under £150 will incur a flat rate charge of £4.99.
Quality Policy
We endevour to create the best products we can within our means. We 3d print the majority of the product, with the screens and steel trays being bought in items.
3d printed parts - The nature of FDM 3d printing means that 'layer lines' will be visible on the edges of the case panels. We have designed the parts in such a way that the main outer face has the lowest chance of defects, but even with the best quality FDM printer, parts will never look perfect. We will ship items with a maximum of 2 defects less than 3mm in size per panel, to a maximum of 4 for a whole product.
Steel shelves - We have consciously chosen to sell our product with uncoated steel shelves. This means that they will bear witness marks from handling at the sheet metal factory, and will have scratch marks on the surface. We will ship items with up to 15% of the surface area lightly scratched (not deep enough to catch on your fingernail)
Acrylic panels - We buy saw cut acrylic rather than laser cut as to give a square edge (rather than melted). The parts will arrive with particles of sawdust around the edges, and the protective covers will also likely have scratches. Please take the protective covers off the acrylic sheets and wipe with a lint free cloth before contacting us regarding any defects.
We will ship acrylic panels that have a maximum of 2 scratches no longer than 2mm.
Return & Exchange Policy
TRIDENT FUTUREWORKS is committed to customer satisfaction. Our return policy is designed to provide you with peace of mind, allowing you to shop with confidence. If you've had a change of heart or are dissatisfied with a product, we've got you covered.
We believe in making the return and exchange process as hassle-free as possible for our customers. Our straightforward refund and exchange policy is aimed at building trust and assuring you that you can shop with confidence at TRIDENT FUTUREWORKS.
We offer customers a 14-day "cooling-off" period to return goods, as delivered in the original packaging, for a full refund if unsatisfied with the item. You will have 14 days from delivery to return the item. We will refund the full amount within 3 working days of receiving the returned item. Returns are at buyers cost.
Due to the individual nature of custom orders, we are regrettably unable to provided refunds..
Transit damage and/or faulty items should be reported ASAP to tridentfutureworks@gmail.com. Please take pictures/video to best show the problem. If this is sufficient to warrant a refund or replacement, we will do so upon return of the item(s). Trident Futureworks will pay the return postage. If the pictures are not deemed enough to warrant a full refund or replacement, the item(s) must be returned at the buyers cost and will be assessed upon receipt of the returned item(s).
